Cherry Hot

The cherry 'hot' chili is named after its resemblance to the familiar cherry fruit. Cherry 'hot' peppers are round and red. They range in pungency from mild to moderately hot. Cherry peppers are available fresh and also are commonly pickled and sold in jars.

The cherry 'hot' chili registers 1,000 to 2,500 Shu's on the Scoville scale.
